   Addis Ababa → Jinka

   Day 1

   Fly to Jinka with your photography guide. Evening briefing on light conditions, portrait ethics, and the shooting schedule ahead.

   Mursi Villages — Golden Hour Portraits

   Day 2

   Dawn departure for Mago National Park. Morning and evening golden-hour sessions with the Mursi — the best light of the day. Midday rest and image review with your guide.

   Mursi — Second Village + Donga

   Day 3

   Visit a second Mursi village for variety. If a donga stick-fighting match is scheduled, capture the action from the crowd with a fast prime.

   Key Afer Market Day

   Day 4

   Saturday market day at Key Afer — the most photogenic market in southern Ethiopia. Hundreds of Hamer, Bena, Ari, and Tsemay traders. Street photography plus portrait sessions.

   Hamer Villages — Ochre & Cattle

   Day 5

   Dawn shoot of Hamer women preparing ochre for their hair. Cattle drive in the afternoon. Evening evangadi dance by firelight.

   Karo Village — Korcho

   Day 6

   Full day at Korcho shooting body painting at dawn, midday, and dusk. The Karo are masters of dramatic color — this is often the highlight of the tour.

   Dassanech & Omo River

   Day 7

   Cross the Omo River by boat to Omorate — Dassanech territory. Sunset over the river with hippos surfacing in the foreground.

   Bull Jumping Ceremony (if available)

   Day 8

   If a Hamer bull jumping ceremony is happening, we attend. Otherwise, extra morning in the villages for portrait follow-ups. Afternoon travel back toward Jinka.

   Jinka → Addis Ababa — Edit Day

   Day 9

   Morning flight to Addis. Full afternoon of editing with your photography guide — culling, color grading, portfolio curation.

    Addis Ababa → Departure

    Day 10

    Optional sunrise shoot at Entoto Mountain. Transfer to Bole International Airport for departure.
